Relevant Population Characteristics

Cervical cancer deaths are preventable and highly treatable if cancer and/or precancerous lesions are detected early with regular screenings. Economically disadvantaged persons are significantly less likely to get a Pap test. Women with higher levels of education are also more likely to have received a Pap test.
