Receiving appropriate cancer screenings, according to the current recommendations, are an effective strategy to detect cancer early and promote favorable health outcomes. Insurance status and factors such as education attainment and socioeconomic status are key facilitators or barriers to accessing and participating in cancer screening services as well as cancer treatment received.
