Query Builder for Injury Inpatient Hospital Discharge Query Module for Utah Small Areas - Total Length of Stay in Days (sum)

Overview

The inpatient discharge data in this IBIS-Q query module come from all Utah licensed hospitals. The database is maintained by the Utah Department of Health and Human Services, Healthcare Information and Analysis Programs. The population data used for the denominator were produced by ESRI ZIP Code data provided annual population estimates for ZIP Code areas by sex and age groups, are considered the most accurate available.

ICD-9-CM Injury Data

This IBIS-PH module queries injury data only. Data in this module are consistent with the injury case definitions found in the Consensus Recommendations for Using Hospital Discharge Data for Injury Surveillance (2003) developed by the State and Territorial Injury Program Directors Association (STIPDA) Injury Surveillance Workgroup, available at https://ibis.utah.gov/ibisph-view/pdf/resource/query/STIPDA.pdf (see pages 7-11).

    To display a map, you must select Geographic Area in Display By (category) and None in Group By (series)
